Non-Taught History

In 2022, the US sanctioned companies building the German, Russian, French and Dutch-owned Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and twice implicitly vowed to destroy it (Biden on Feb 7, Nuland on Feb 27). It was then sabotaged on Sept 26 of the same year along with Nord Stream 1. The then Defence Minister of Poland promptly celebrated the attack in a now-deleted tweet, writing, “Thank you, USA.” The West then accused Russia of blowing up its own pipelines. Finally, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh reported in early 2023 that the CIA, with help from Norway, used explosives and divers to conduct the sabotage operation.
